What is the Brutalist Architecture Presentation Template?

A 35 slide Canva presentation template built for architects, architecture studios, interior designers and design consultancies bidding for serious work. It is structured as a Stage 1 portfolio and capability submission, the document a practice issues in response to an expression of interest, a request for proposal, a design competition or a new client pitch. What is the design system?

Format: 1920 by 1080 pixels, widescreen 16:9, for screen, projection and PDF export. Colours: Carbon (near black) primary, Aggregate (warm concrete grey) secondary, Oxide (orange red) highlight. No gold, silver or gradients. Typefaces: Archivo Black for headings, Space Mono for labels, Inter for body. All three are free Google fonts available inside Canva. Geometry: each sheet carries unique generated line work, including star polygons, golden section subdivision, Cantor bars, Hilbert curves, Sierpinski triangles and phyllotaxis fields, drawn as low opacity strokes behind your content.

Can I change the colours, fonts and images?

Yes. Every element is a native Canva shape, text box or image frame. Change the three brand colours across the whole deck in a few clicks, apply your own brand kit fonts, and drag your photography into the frames. Nothing is flattened or locked.

How do I use the template?

1. Purchase and download the PDF from this page.
2. Open the Canva link inside the PDF and select “Use template”.
3. Replace the placeholder firm name, project names, figures, biographies and images with your own.
4. Apply your brand colours and fonts if you prefer them to the supplied system.
5. Export as PDF for submission or present directly from Canva.

Why a brutalist system for a bid document?

Selection panels for large design jobs respond to restraint. A dark ground, generous white space, monochrome photography and a single accent signal technical seriousness and let your drawings do the talking. The placeholder photography is black and white, so the template looks finished the moment you open it and your own work sits correctly against the palette.

Is this a PowerPoint or Keynote file?

No. It is a Canva template. Canva can export to PowerPoint if a client needs a PPTX file, though some geometry may simplify on export.

Are the photographs included?

Placeholder images are included for layout and are Creative Commons Zero or public domain. Replace them with your own project photography before issuing to a client.

Can I use it for more than one project?

Yes. Buy once and duplicate the template inside Canva as often as you like for your own practice or studies.

Can I resell or share the template?
