This is a brief studio note about a change in how we’re structured.
Tokyo Design Studio Pty Ltd (TDS Australia, ABN 94 710 735 406) has operated as a single Australia-registered design studio with a Sydney office since 2021. As of May 2026, our Japanese-facing brand and website operates at https://tokyodesignstudio.jp, alongside this site (tdsaustralia.com.au).
The new site is the public-facing presence for our Tokyo studio, our Japanese-language clients, and the cross-cultural work we do between Japan and Australia. It mirrors the same studio team — same founders, same designers, same creative standards — and the same legal entity behind the work. The split is for clarity, not for separation: our Japanese clients increasingly want a Japanese-domain presence, and our Australian clients are comfortable working with our Australian-domain entity.

For our existing Australian clients: nothing changes. We continue to invoice from Tokyo Design Studio Pty Ltd. The Tokyo office is at Square Daikanyama, 8-7 Daikanyama-cho; tokyodesignstudio.jp is its public-facing brand.
